Dear Person:
I am respectfully submitting my resume for the position of ____ for the University of California at Berkeley. I was pleasantly surprised to see this position open and I feel that I can serve your organization well. I have over eight years of management experience with more than five years directly related to fund development with an emphasis on public relations and marketing management. I went through ceremonies here in the spring of 1995 in the College of Letters and Sciences and received my Bachelor of Arts. I enjoyed attending school here and look forward to contributing to Cal’s success.
I have been most recently working for an organization here in Berkeley that has now closed its California operations. Even though I have been given the chance to work back in D.C., I have chosen to stay in Berkeley because I feel very at home here and I have many friends who are still attending Cal or have gone on to become faculty. I would greatly enjoy the opportunity to meet with your hiring personnel and discuss the various options for creating a new vision of prosperity for the University and widening its network of sponsorship throughout both the public and private sectors.
My former background in psychology and counseling would lend itself well to figuring out the needs of the diverse population of students, staff, and sponsors that one encounters in the day to day operations of this type of program. Being a specialist with databases, I would implement these to form an organized and comprehensive program for fund development. I am familiar with most of the campus departments and the special needs of financially challenged students, especially ones looking for scholarships. Through the years of working with computers and information, I have become proficient with PC based spreadsheets, bookkeeping, and word processing software. I have also recently encountered a great deal of success in utilizing the Internet to gather and disseminate information quickly and efficiently.
This position sounds like a perfect opportunity to use my people skills along with my computer skills and at the same time help out my Alma Mater. I would love to hear back from you when you set up the interviews. Thank you for reading this.
Sincerely,
June 1, 2024
Dear Person:
I am writing to express interest in your need for a ___ and am interested in working with you for several reasons.
The first is that I have a deep trust in ___ and he speaks highly of you. Having primarily lead a life of service, I can serve in a variety of capacities ranging from doing office tasks, shopping, paying bills, answering phones to doing troubleshooting, negotiating with service providers or any number of errands. I am happy to do whatever is needed as I have 9 year old and 7 year old sons who teach me to always remain in the present and give my best.
My original path in life was to be a jet pilot, but I was 2 inches too tall to fly military jets and I’d enjoy the chance to work around someone of your caliber and experience in aviation. It would be interesting to hear your perspective on flying and what it means to you.
I have assisted many mature people so that they can have more leisure time and know that things were getting handled with care and efficiency. I attend a school in San Rafeal called the Foundation for Spiritual Development and am already there once a week. I’m also looking to move to San Rafael eventually.
I currently have some residual income from previous endeavors and need only a little more to cover my family’s expenses every month. My ideal job now would be one day a week either in San Rafael or Berkeley and I would be willing to make a long term commitment if you felt like it was a good fit. I am available to start as soon as needed.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the resume. I look forward to speaking with you regarding your needs and wants and how I may be able to help.
Respectfully yours,

Dear Andrea:
I am writing regaring a career position with KEMA and am very interested in working for you, bringing green solutions to your clients. I am drawn to KEMA’s founding principles, mission and high integrity.
Growing up mostly in Wisconsin, I was originally inspired by a Aldo Leopold, Frank Lloyd Wright and John Muir. Since then I’ve had the privilege of working with Paul Hawken, Amory Lovins, Steve Schiller and learning from Ed Arens, Cris Benton, Ryan Stroupe, and the PG&E Energy Center. I’ve been greatly influenced by Sym Van der Ryn, Bill McDonough, Arne Naess, Susan Maxman, Jay Baldwin and John Todd to find solutions to what has become one of the most pressing issues of our time.
I have known Zed since architecture school in 94 and am excited at the prospect of joining a team that shares his passion for green building. I completed a thesis on ecological design, deep ecology and sustainability, yet rather than getting a Masters in Architecture, I chose to bring the information to small and medium-sized businesses in order to reduce their energetic footprint through planning, design and policy. I’ve been teaching a class bringing sustainability to medicine for the last five years at Berkeley and working with Teleosis Institute recently to promote green medicine at the national level integrating ecology and economics to create efficiency based models for generating profit. I have enjoyed serving groups like the CAL Solar Car Team, USCA, Bioneers, ACEEE, WiserEarth, the Solar Energy Society and many others.
My skill set offers your company a valuable asset. I am a quick learner, enjoy challenges and work well in a team environment sharing the many green offerings such as site design, environmetal quality, energy management, daylighting, passive and active solar, passive heating and cooling, embodied energy, materials management, efficient delivery systems, graywater treatment, better transportation models, recycled content, full lifecycle design, ultimately moving LEED projects one level higher with a goal of eventually reaching platinum where possible. I look forward to working for your team as a sustainability designer and assisting in LEED projects, as well as offering skills and information technology such as database, GUI and Web design bringing an interdisciplinary approach to creating the most effective solutions for each client.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the attached resume. I look forward to speaking with you regarding the needs and wants of your organization and how we can share the rewarding possibilities that the future holds for both of us, working with such a passionate and motivated group like KEMA to bring green solutions to global leaders! Now that Wal-Mart has “gone green” it will be interesting to see what happens when Google, Microsoft, Sybase, eBay, HP, and Amazon, Macys and the other Fortune 500s go there too.
Respectfully yours,
Rob McClintic

Rob’s Mission Statement
My Mission is to Inspire others through Integral Medicine, to Embody the Medicine and to Serve as an Ambassador for Medicine in every area of life. I am a catalyst assisting people to heal themselves.
Medicine is a direct experiencing of Source. Medicine teaches that we are all one and what affects one affects all. Medicine teaches that we are Co-Creators of our own Destiny, that Love is the Most Powerful Force in our lives and that when we align ourself with Love, we can surrender any idea of self as separate from you or from God and allow Medicine to do Its Work for Healing and Change. Uncertainty and Change (the Transient Nature of all that arises) are great Vehicles for Growth and Healing.
I pursue Medicine by opening my mind and heart becoming more fully awake and MINDFUL in my moment to moment experiences and relationships.
I know that I have integrity in this endeavor when I feel simultaneously challenged, peaceful and happy, when I understand, have insight and compassion for myself and others and when I can see that my path continues to open and deepen before me.
My vehicle for serving this Truth is developing presentations that provide educational and experiential opportunities for people to learn about Medicine, Service, Creativity, Mindfulness and Personal Growth, or any other topics that promote awareness by being in the present moment.
I do this by educating myself and my family and practicing Medicine in my own life and thinking deeply about the specific ways that Mindfulness can be applied in our own work. I keep my eyes open for specific Spiritual Teachers, while regarding everyone I meet as a Teacher and I keep my Heart and Mind open to what each has to share.
I work on my own health issues first, bringing Mindfulness and a Happy Heart to the Process of Growing and Healing, play songs for others and write about Medicine as I experience it in my life.
I seek out opportunities to teach people in the service industries or in any other walks of life how to incorporate Mindfulness into their lives and practices.
Most of all, I Trust that this Work will Grow and Prosper in Alignment.

This organization holds space for the following truths that define, embody & direct all the services and operations:
ROB McCLINTIC’S TRIBAL CHALLENGE
CHALLENGE: To cultivate, embody, and radiate internal qualities of: self-love & expression; vulnerability; and trust.
CHALLENGE ELEMENTS: There are 4 sections to this challenge. While they do not match/mirror the qualities listed above directly, they all bear on them.
Element #1. VULNERABILITY.
Learn and cultivate a specific heart-centered practice.
During week #1, practice this (roughly a 20-minute exercise) at least 5 days in a row.
Continue practicing this at least once per week over the remaining 6 weeks.
For that 6-week period, cultivate a partner-intimacy practice, consisting of generating and sharing openly – from your heart and including fears you usually resist sharing – with another. Practice this at least 3 times per week. At least one of those weekly times will be with your wife, and at least 2 times overall with your family.
Ground yourself first in the spirit of the hear-centered practice prior to these conversations, in whatever way works.
Keep a journal of your heart-centered practice, recording the experiences – and of the conversations.
Element #2. SELF-EXPRESSION.
Bring a personal song to public life and express this in 3 stages:
Sing / perform for your wife.
Sing to a trusted circle of 5 or more.
Perform for the Tribune / pod at the 2nd Initiation.
Solicit and be open to receiving reflections from your audience each time.
Journal the experience of anticipating, performing and receiving response for each of these events.
Element #3. VISION PRESENTATION.
Develop a presentation for advancing an integrative medicine university dream. It must be suitable for presenting to a person(s) capable of advancing your dream in a substantial way.
Contact, arrange a meeting, and deliver this presentation to someone who can meaningfully help bring your vision to fruition. This meeting must be at least 20 minutes of on-purpose delivery and interaction.
Express why this matters deeply to you personally.
Include a specific request of that person for assistance.
Request the names of at least 2 other individuals the person believes might further advance your vision for future contacts.
At the presentation’s closure, get feedback from your audience:
Was the person inspired?
Have you enrolled the person to assist you? If so, how?
Get a recording of this feedback from your audience.
At 2nd Tribunal, present a 10- minute version of your presentation and enroll your Tribune and pod in your vision. Demonstrate your passion and engagement.
Element #4: FUN / SELF-INDULGENCE.
At least 2 hours each week, get out of your home to do something specifically and purely for YOUR fun and enjoyment.
You may choose to share any of these activities with your wife or with another friend. But the activity is YOUR choice for your satisfaction.
“Extra points” for leaving your child in the care of someone other than your wife as you practice this element – however it is arranged.
Keep a journal of what activities you indulge in, when, and for how long.
DRAGON’S HEAD
Come with the following elements to prove your mission has been accomplished.
The journal tracking: your heart-centered practice and its impact on your partner-intimacy interactions throughout this challenge; tracking your experience in presenting your music, the responses to your musical performances, and your intake of that response.
A presentation of your song to the Tribune and the pod. This includes the element of inspiring us to feel and hear you and your message.
The recording of response(s) to your Vision Presentation: who the person is, whether s/he was inspired, whether they were enrolled to assist directly in some way, and whether they were able to refer you to others.
Present an on-spot 10-minute version of your Vision Enrollment speech. Enroll us in your vision showing us the depth of your care and the meaning it holds. Show us your transformation as you demonstrate this commitment.

Amera employs a holistic approach to marketing that focuses on utilizing experts to build your firm’s brand. Recognized brands are more trusted and therefore more likely to attract and retain clients. Using traditional public relations tactics as well as the latest digital marketing strategies, we translate the best of what your firm does offline, into the online marketplace.
Amera adds value in multiple ways. One of the more notable ways we do this is through our Creative Team. Having a structured team of dedicated creatives allows Amera to create and execute innovative content campaigns that establish authority and increase brand visibility. Strong ideas are the backbone of a successful marketing campaign.
Whether through practice area pages, blog posts, press releases, infographics, videos, Slideshares, email and social media campaigns or specialty projects, our expert team will create top-notch content that drives actionable leads.
From the moment your website launches and for as long as you remain a client, Amera will oversee SEO best practices of the best (industry) websites and Google Webmaster Guidelines in on-site areas that include the following:
Internal Links: These are the links that connect one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain and only reference a site’s own content, helping with navigation and information hierarchy. A solid internal link structure is a signal that the content on your site is intuitively arranged and information is easy to find, and helps users navigate your page easily spending more time, and consuming more content.
Content: The most important thing on a webpage is the content. No amount of technical tinkering can make up for content that is poorly written and/or not relevant to a searcher’s needs. From a content standpoint, optimization begins with identifying content needs, which can include basic blogs and static pages, or more visually-engaging content such as videos, infographics and Slideshare presentations. Our creative team, writers and editors abide by journalistic standards that convey content authority.
Page Speed: Your site must be technically sound and display quickly for users. Research has shown that most users abandon a page that takes more than 5-10 seconds to load. Amera optimizes page speed through a number of techniques, including image compression, reducing and packaging JavaScript, and having a proper html to text ratio.
Titles: First impressions matter on the web. Title tags appear in browsers, search engine results pages and external websites, providing a snapshot for the user of what the page contains, often through keywords and branding. Expertly-crafted titles help your content stand out and make a good first impression.
Mobile Compatibility: Google has championed “mobile friendliness” as an important factor in search rankings, especially on mobile devices. Smartphones and tablets account for an ever-increasing share of Internet usage and represent about half of all Google searches. Having a website that is great-looking and easy-to-navigate on desktop screens is no longer enough. Your site must be equally impressive and responsive when viewed on smaller devices, with sufficiently large text and links that are easy to click. Every site that Amera produces uses “responsive design” to give users the best experience, regardless of what type of device they are using. Our team has stayed with this trend.
